my views on HOMEBASED ONLINE JOBS trending in facebook

Okay... So... I've been very busy with school for a long time that
I kind of lost all the time to even think about this blog...

Since I enrolled, I really wanted to earn money for me and my baby and thought...
ting! we have online based jobs, so I started searching for this jobs...

I found a lot of online jobs like www.upwork.com , but here is the catch...
  • - I don't have any experience working as a VA online and I don't know how
  • - I don't  have a degree,nor certificate, nor experience about teaching english
  • - I don't know how to deal with transcription formats...

Don't get me wrong, I want to learn how all of this works and how to do certain jobs,
because I really need a part-time to earn money for my daughter...
So I asked our friend google for answers and voila, he gave me three options which only require an internet connection, laptop and something I already know which is clicking and typing...

1)  2CAPTCHA

original photo by: www.2captcha.com

             So on this website you just have to encode words like the ones below:

The job was pretty easy if you have clear eyes and fast hands, but I don't know if this is legit or what, according to some friends in facebook it is pretty legit cause they pay you with 1$ per 1000 captcha, but then I figure out how this works, if you really want to earn using this you need to have a lot of referrals like a I mean a LOOOT... But I don't have time for inviting people and posting on a lot of groups.

2) PROTYPERS

        The mechanics of earning through this website is pretty much the same with captcha, you need to type captcha words and you get paid for as the website claims but according to scamskitchen.com it doesn't pay.

        read more here: https://scamskitchen.com/on-todays-menu-my-protypers-com-review-200-scam/

3)JUANADS

                   This website offer a pay-per-click ads...

                   you click and view an ad, and you get paid... that's is their claim....

             So regarding this site, i can say that this one really is a scam...

            Why did I assume that simple... They have this ...

     If you don't pay premium then you would have less advertisements...

4) Coins.ph

        According to the one I ask about this, It's simple, you just register and you get 50 pesos, when you have successfully got someone to sign-up under your referral code you and the other person would get 50 also and so on... Its like a network marketing that if you refer someone, and that person also succeeded in getting someone you would have a percentage or I think the term that the person who told me about this is commission...

So my Conclusion about this websites I have listed, I wouldn't go for this, I better do a long cut of learning how to be a VA, an English tutor or learn how to properly format in transcription rather than waste time in this...

That's all thank you for reading....

Baby's Second Month

  Janzinni's second month was not so much, because like before, when she was still a month old, she sleeps and eats as usual, the only things that differ were; she would have her vaccine (BCG and OPV) and we are going home in Quirino Province, this would be her first long hour trip so I was hesitant at first.
  Why hesitant.? because according to my sister-in-law, a baby can't be on a travel for  more than 3 hours or so, according to the book she have read, the sudden change in air-pressure could heighten the chances of your child to be deaf, not to mention that the sudden change of temperature from Baguio City (cold) to Quirino Province (Humid) can give her a flu or something, and of course no mother would want that ,so I did a little research.
  According to a certain site it is fine as long as you make sure that baby's things are all set. The things you needed are listed below.(this list is not only for travelling inside your country but also internationally)

TRAVELLING LOCALLY and INTERNATIONAL

>
disposable baby wipes
> disposable diapers / cloth diaper
> baby's jacket
> baby blanket / blanket cover (breastfeeding cover)
> 2 trash bag (if you are using cloth diaper, make sure your wet is very accessible)
> water for you and your baby (baby feeding bottle)
> highly accessible extra clothes (for baby and you)

*better put this things in a separate bag*

*during plane travel, the rising pressure might make your baby uncomfortable, the solution in here is to feed her liquids (water, breast milk, formula milk)

  As for baby's vaccine, I suggest you dressed her up appropriately like making sure her thighs (where they inject your baby) is accessible, a frogsuit / overall is totally not recommended. During vaccination there were no problems at all, its all normal like she cries after they inject the needle and such,if you are carrying an older baby you might want to bring some cookies / foods that your baby likes in order to soothe her/him after the vaccination.
  The real nightmare starts after a few hours of vaccination, because it (thigh) would be swollen and your baby would normally have a fever, but you don't need to worry about his/her fever yet, because it's normal not unless the fever didn't go away after you gave her medicine (paracetamol).
  It's really a must to have a paracetamol on-hand for your baby before his/her vaccination for it would act like a pain killer.
  During Samantha's first vaccination, it was really a nightmare for we don't have a paracetamol at that time, my husband is taking the afternoon shift at work (3 pm-12 am), and no one could possibly buy the medicine, Samantha's been crying that whole afternoon after she woke-up, I don't know what to do, so to ease her pain I boiled water and did a hot compress until her medicine arrive.
 The next day she was well and cheerful again,but I'm still worried because her thigh, which was injected , is still kind of swollen inside, like there was something hard inside her muscles or something, so I asked a kind friend of mine who was a nurse and she said, that I might not have massage it right after the vaccination, and to soften the hard thing or something like lump in her thighs, I should do a hot compress on her again, on that very afternoon the lump like thing in her thighs were gone.

*//here in the Philippines, the most recommended brand of paracetamol which is highly effective to lower your baby's fever is tempra//*

Diaper Review :: Disposables

  Okay, many reviews about diaper that you could see today in the internet is about cloth diaper, bumgenius, bestbottom, grovia, alvababy, and many more, so to make it a little different let me share to you my reviews about disposable diapers which is available here in the Philippines that I have personally use. EQ , Huggies Dry(blue), Huggies Total Protection(red), Pampers newborn(yellow), SuperTwin Diapers, and magic color, let me start with my least favorite.
  The reviews below are based on my personal experiences only, many babies have their preferences on which disposable diapers do their skin want.

  • Magic Color Disposable Diaper

    photo credits:: bananapeelsdiapers.weebly.com

       This diaper is really cheap if you compare it to other brand of diapers like Huggies or Pampers but then you would really get what you pay for, the cover of this one is like plastic, it leaks a lot, the fitting of this one to my baby is so-so. and it cannot last or more than 4 hours (based on experience) even though my baby is only medium wetter.
  • Super Twin Diapers
    photo credits :: megasot.com.ph

       A friend recommended it to me, she says its cheap and works like Huggies, she also said that this diaper was the only diaper she tried that stopped her bay's rashes, so I ask my mom to buy the 4 pieces pack to try.
      The cover looks cute with its denim print, it's soft the inside also looks good, it handles my baby's pee wonderfully it doesn't leak the fitting is good, and then boom baby's explosive poop cam this diaper was not able to handle it and it leaked on the back part of the diaper, because of that I am not trying this one again.
  • EQ

       EQ's quality is good,colors of the cover are so-so its kind of average really, I personally think its a good diaper,only if it's not so bulky and the sizing is not weird. but the this diaper is not really expensive.
      I wouldn't recommend their newborn one, I love that they have the belly button thingy but its really bulky. Their bigger diapers, I would recommend but not highly, their sizing is really weird, if it's not too big, it's too small, I don't know it's only to my baby that the sizing is weird, I would really like other moms to share to me their experiences about this one.
  • Huggies Dry (Blue)

      This diaper is the one that my baby  is using, the price is more or less like the EQ diaper but the fitting of this one is really good, the cover is good, it's breathable but the designs are so-so.
      I love their version of the Huggies dry-pants, it's cute and not so hard to use, the fitting is really cool too, I would recommend this one.
  • Pamper's Newbaby

    photo credits ::flipkart.com

      My baby only used this during her first month, because I have read its the best for baby's sensitive skin so this is the one I bought, it's actually quite big but the fitting is still okay because it never failed us, it successfully contain my baby's mess and everything, but it's expensive.
  • Huggies Total Protection (Red)

    photo credits:: flipkart.com

      The first one on my list, my most favorite diaper, it's expensive though but it's worth it, if I have known they have newborn size earlier this would be the one I would use to my baby, the price is really worth it.
     it's very soft, breathable and gives your baby the total protection it promised, I would really highly recommend this one, especially their newborn size for your new angel.

//*Share your experiences with disposable diapers below at the comment box I would really love to hear your stories*//

Post Natal : Problems and Solutions

   After being dismissed(I'm not sure if it's the correct term) in the hospital, I was really tired and restless, especially that my baby was waking up every two hours to feed, and I haven't regain my strength after I gave birth and you haven't adjusted having your baby around yet.

My Problems and Solutions::

  1. Baby wakes up every 2 hours or less

       As we all know baby needs to sleep a lot in 24 hours, and since they haven't adjust on the life outside your tummy yet, and at the same time you also need to sleep to regain you strength.

    Solution ::

      Most babies, often wake-ups to feed, when they get hungry easily, they tend to sleep shorter, so the solution would be to make your baby full, so that she would sleep longer, to do that he/she needs to feed longer. How do you that when the moment he/she latched to your breast  she shuts her eyes?
      Make him/her feel uncomfortable by stripping some of his/her clothes to make him/her a little bit cold if you're worried that your baby might get sick because of the weather, don't worry its not as if you will strip every single clothes he/she have on, and make him/her butt naked, and to top it off , if you are going to breastfeed him/her your body temperature would be enough to make his/her body feel not warm enough.
  2. Breast sores because of breastfeeding?

      Okay, this is not he same for everyone, some mommies, complain about this for a month or so and some last for only a week.

    Solution::

    > drink warm water while baby is feeding
    > put a warm (cold) compress before/after/during feeding,
    > and make sure you put breast pad
       (when you're not wearing this one your brassiere might rub against your breast and making you uncomfortable )
  3. Breast milk shortage?

      Many moms, especially first time moms are worried about not having enough milk to give to their baby, so how would you make sure you have enough or how would you increase your milk supply.?

    Solution::

    > drink a lot of water
    > eat fruits and veggies
    > eat dry foods(ex. rice) with soup
    > eat moringa / malunggay
       (moringa has also a capsule version)
    > skin contact with baby
       (when you are breastfeeding your baby, its helpful to to have skin contact --- both of you are naked while she feeds, if it's cold you can cover yourself and your baby a blanket)
    > pump your breast
       (breastfeeding works on a supply and demand thing. and you would also see if you really have enough milk.^^)
    > drink fenugreec
       (ask your pedia before drinking this one)

       If you are still having problems with breastfeeding/milk supply, ask your pedia/ob for help, because some moms really have problems producing milk.
  4. Soothing your Baby

      This one is a little tricky, first you need to get familiar wit their cries, how does her cry sounds like when, she's in pain, hungry, or want to sleep. and this depends on your baby

    Solution ::

      Try this one step by step

    >  try to make her sleep; swaying, dancing, swaddling your baby, and or take her/him out for a walk.
    > if your baby cannot sleep, this is the time you feed her.
    > if the first two doesn't work try checking his/her diaper.
    > if nothing works to soothe your baby's crying take him/her to the hospital.
  5. I can't get my husband to be involved

    Solution ::

    > leave him with the baby, he would figure the things he needs to do when your not around.
    > tell him to give you the baby, if needs nursing already.

    *if he doesn't do the things you are doing the exact same way, keep your mouth shut and let them handle things, if they really can't do it and can't find a way, they would ask for your help. don't destroy their confidence, for this would only discouraged you man to take care of your baby.

//*I don't remember other problems I have during this period so if you have other problems share it through the comment below and I'll share solutions that I personally tried.
   I'm not a doctor or specialist or something but I'm willing to learn from all of you and share my experiences as well*//

Giving Birth::My Hospital Bag

  My hospital bag was not as complete as you think, because I only brought 1 set of changing clothes  (no clothes to shield me from the cold), and 2 sets of changing clothes for baby, baby blanket, diaper, baby's bath soap, oil , and money. That's the only thing I thought was necessary, because of this my husband have to buy or go home to get the other things I didn't bring.if I would remake this scene in my life, this is the list of things I would bring with me and the reason why.

1. for me (the mother)

  • 2 Pajamas
  • 2 Jacket
  • 2 socks
  • 1 bonnet

       This first four things in my list are needed to shield me from the cold weather even though I feel that my environment is warm and almost hot, because after giving birth all the pores of our body is open, and if the cold wind gets inside those open pores, it will affect our bodies in the long run. like having arthritis, and such, or getting cold easily, and the most visible effect would be having a rough like sand texture of the skin.
  • my own blanket
  • my own pillow

      I would be honest , public hospital's pillow and blankets here in the Philippines are not so comfortable, so its better to bring your own.
  • bath soap
  • shampoo
  • comb
  • towel
  • feminine wash
  • toothbrush and toothpaste

       Hygiene reasons
  • adult diaper

      blood is still going out of me after giving birth
2. for my baby
  • clothes
  • booties, mittens, and bonnet
  • blanket
  • travelling sized bath soap (optional)
  • towel(optional)

      The last 2 which I marked as optional depends on the hospital, because when I give birth in this certain hospital (Baguio General Hospital), they didn't give my baby a bath so it would depend.
  • diaper

      I suggest you bring a 2 pcs. / 4 pcs. pack in the hospital, because some hospitals (not all) is said to get stuffs from their patients and such things so its better to be sure than sorry.
3. extra things

  • feeding bottles (optional)

      I will include this one because you won't know if you would be giving birth through c-section, and if you deliver your baby this way you wont be able to breast feed her.
  • breast pump

      Weather you delivered normally or via c-section you will need this to increase your milk supply especially if you plan on breastfeeding your baby
  • cellphone and camera (optional)

      of course you want to record and capture one of the best events in your life
  • baby's car seat (optional)

      you need this if you have a car
  • plastic bags

      you need to at least have 3 - 4, one is for your trash and baby's trash, second one is for your used clothes and the last one would be for wet clothes
  • thermos (container to keep hot liquid from getting cold)

      after giving birth you can't drink cold water, if I'm not mistaken the reason is the same when you get cold air through your open pores after giving birth.
  • food and water

      after exhausting hours of giving birth, this is one of the most important things I need regain my strength even for just a little.

 This list of things might seem a lot (for some people) or incomplete for some, or some might even think that some of the things listed here are unnecessary to bring when you are about to give birth, well it's up to you, this things listed here are the things I think I would need the second time I give birth, I don't want to make my husband so tired going back and forth from the hospital to our house, or hospital to the convenience store just to  buy this things/ stuffs.

^^

Pregnancy : Third / Final Trimester

  I will tell you honestly this is the most exciting and boring part of your pregnancy why boring.? This is the part when you think that the time is running so slow, specially during you 7th and 8th months of pregnancy, its like the time is not running at all (specially if you are an at-home-person), and you want to pull the time so that you would be able to hug and kiss your baby.
  During this time of your pregnancy just continue your less carbs and less sugar diet you might also want to walk around and try to avoid having your siesta (afternoon nap), so that you would lessen the risk of giving birth through c-section.
 One of the exercise that my husband's aunt taught me was doing the open  squat and stand exercise, she said this will help to make your vulva (vagina's opening) to be more stretchable and ready for your baby.

squat and stand exercise

    On the last month of my pregnancy, I started to get nervous and excited like how should I push my baby, what would she look like and hope she would get out of me in a healthy condition and normal and things like that.
   Because of my nervousness that I wouldn't know how to push my baby, I ask around to my nurse friends and to my friends who already gave birth, which was a very HUGE MISTAKE, why.? because when the time of giving birth has come I always kinda check if its painful if its get painful I push which was WRONG, definitely wrong I was better off not knowing how to push.

(*on my upcoming blogs, I will also share to the filipino beliefs during and after pregnancies which is kinda funny and cool and weird at the same time*)

Pregnancy::Second Trimester

  This is the part where pregnancy gets harder, why.? you get heavier, some pregnant women gets cramps, your tummy is starting to be itchy and you get to have stretch marks and everything, your clothes would start to not fit you at all and you always feel tired and sleepy.
  But then, even if its get harder, it also becomes more enjoyable, why.? This is the part of your pregnancy that you can really feel your baby growing, he/she started to kick, and move, and you can already hear your baby's heartbeat.
 oh, I forgot to mention in my previous blog that once you went to the health center, they would give you a anti-tetanus vaccine, if you are a first time mom and haven't completed your vaccine of this certain thing.

  This is the best time of your pregnancy to buy stuffs for your baby, because you are already sure of its gender and such things. You should already prepare your bag going to the hospital. Make sure to list down everything you need in the hospital.
  You might also want to consider reducing your carbohydrates intake (rice, bread etc.), sugar intake (chocolate, cakes, etc.), and increase your vegetable, fruit and water intake, in short have a balance diet and in additional you might want to start walking or have some light excercise, to lessen the chances of you/your baby to have a diabetes.
  Why need a balance diet and exercise.? So that you will have a lesser hard time giving birth. Balance diet but less carbohydrates? So that your baby will not be so big that they need to cut your tummy to bring him/her out.

(*on my next post, I would share to you the things I think is necessary to put in your hospital bag / THE day bag*)
